Caramel apples with grandma

Every Monday night we rotate who does what for family home evening. I had been noticing premade caramel apples at the store and thought that it sounded delicious. It was my week to choose the treat and I thought it would be a great idea to do it for family home evening. It's an activity and treat all rolled up into one. Grandma Pope had come by and so she joined us. I melted caramel candy in the microwave and we were ready to coat the apples. Our apples turned out pretty well and the best part, they tasted great. Her are a few pics of the process.

Also included is James and his new glasses. Just recently he informed us that his eyes aren't working that well. Come to find out that indeed he needed glasses.
